Bargello swoop wave adds some nice texture and has plenty of opportunities to add your own flavor to the canvas. Try alternating the stitch lengths on each row from 3 to 2 (or 1!) or use different threads for each stitch length to make this stitch really stand out. This stitch covers your canvas better than traditional vertical bargello waves if you're a full coverage needlepointer.
