Welcome to the her story remix of the remix featuring the Six Wives of Henry the Eighth in their historical portraiture clothing with a bit of a modern twist from the musical costumes. 

Catherine of Aragon was the first wife of Henry the Eighth. Originally married to his brother and widowed, Catherine led England with Henry against the Scot rebellion. Despite their marriage producing a surviving heir, Mary I, Henry wanted a male heir to the throne. He separated from the Roman Catholic Empire and formed the Church of England to grant an annulment of his marriage to Catherine so that he could marry Anne Boleyn. She lived the rest of her life in banishment until her death.
