Six Wives Club Katherine Howard

Welcome to the her story remix of the remix featuring the Six Wives of Henry the Eighth in their historical portraiture clothing with a bit of a modern twist from the musical costumes. 

Katherine was the first cousin of Anne Boleyn and secured a position in the household of Anne of Cleves prior to her marriage to Henry. She was highly favored by Henry during Anne's reign and married Henry soon after his annulment to Anne. Katherine had a history with male courtiers that persevered into her marriage with Henry and was accused of adultery. A bill was passed that made it treason and punishable by death for a queen who failed to disclose her previous relationship (putting it kindly here) to the king. Deemed guilty of this retroactive law, she was beheaded.
